Research

To keep proper account of topics and country position, delegates are recommended to create research folders. Folders should include relevant information on the representing country and topic through news articles, official documentation, internet-gained information, notes, resolution and amendment formats, and position papers. Position papers are not required in this conference but highly recommended as to assist delegates in preparing for committee. Below is a sample format of a position paper, resolution, and amendment.

Dress Code
Delegates are required to wear proper delegate dress. This includes a Western-style dress attire in which boys wear dress shirts and shoes, suits, and ties and ladies wear dress shirts, skirts and shoes, suits, and blouses/cardigans. Short, overly baggy, revealing, and gang-like clothing is not accepted as it may distract from the conference agenda. Delegates found infringing these rules may be removed from the conference.

Cheating
Cheating is NOT permitted in this conference. Forms of cheating include pre-written working papers/resolutions and plagiarism. Any copied versions of other works and ideas (without proper citation and credits) into delegates’ speeches, comments, working papers/resolutions, etc. are NOT allowed nor tolerated. Re-wording original works is still plagiarism of concept. Offenders will be immediately dismissed from the conference with notice to their advisors.
